Calling anyone who is interested in being part of a fun and exciting evangelism team! We will be getting permission to hand out fliers and sing in public places in order to reach out to our community. We want to advise people of our new Hispanic program, so we will be targeting Hispanic people, but we also want to use the opportunity to speak with and invite English speaking people as well. We need people who would like to sing, play an instrument, hand out fliers and present the gospel. Our next outing will be announced soon. Please let Melanie Olvera know if you'd like to participate. Like Pastor always says, it's time to reap the harvest now!

Our Deacons are heading up an Auction Fundraiser to be held on Saturday, March 27th in the Community Building. Donations are needed and sign up sheets will be available in the front foyer. Doors will open at 5:00pm and the bidding begins at 6:00pm. The ELC will have a concession stand open, so come hungry! Please see Tommy Blackstock or Buford Lewis for more information.

In addition to the auction, we will be having a special cake auction. These cakes are going to be made by some extraordinary people in our church;-The Church Board! This includes Pastor Scotty, Associate Pastor Danny, and all of our deacons. These men will have no help in making and baking the cakes (other than vocal instruction), unless needed in an emergency situation.  Some have cooked and baked before; others have not.  We really don't know what we are in for; with the exception of lots of FUN!!!!

If you would like to receive a voucher to receive food at the Lula Connection Ministry, please see Brenda Wiley after service. The next distribution will be Saturday, April 3rd.

Brand JC Youth will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 3rd at Lula Park at 2:00pm. All children who wish to hunt eggs need to bring a basket and 10 eggs. Hot Dogs & Hamburger Plates will be for sale and there will also be a bake sale. All money raised will benefit our Youth ministry here at LAP. Please see Charlotte Martin for more information.
